Greetings: This may be a stupid question, but I developed this nice web page interface for a database where there is an Add/Modify/Delete and Show All web pages/forms and they all call the PHP file for its action. I am using a hidden form element with a name called "action" with a value of "add", "del", ... . I was almost done when I had my machine re-ghosted and I re-setup PHP and MySQL, now when I call the PHP file, it won't pick up any of my form values such as my "action" value, or my "fname" value or the "price" value, etc .... But PHP is working, I've tested it with the phpinfo() method, and I can still call the correct php file, but the switch statement just falls into the default case which is "Show All". Here is a simple example of how I have my form setup, the result when I do a print for fname or price or lname or action is a null(or empty) string. Any ideas which directive I don't have set correctly? I think it must be something in my php.ini file versus something with IIS4 set for PHP, but I could be wrong? As the PHP Windows instructions suggest, I didn't use HTTP Authentication because I didn't need it. It obviously worked before. <form action="testpassing.php" method="get"> <input type="hidden" name="action" value="add"> First Name:</td><td><input type="text" size=15 name=fname><br> Last Name: </td><td><input type="text" size=15 name=lname><br> Price: </td><td><input type="text" size=25 name=price><br> Thanks, -- Joey Joey Garcia Web Design Engineer 5475 Mark Dabling Blvd Colorado Springs, CO Phone: (719) 593-9890 x-322 Fax: (719) 532-0165 Email: mailto:jgarcia@mobilize.com
