I have Yellowdog Linux, and the installed version of PHP doesn't have
support for connections to MySql. How do you add this afterwards? I have
tried to edit the php3.ini, but when I check with phpinfo() MySql does not
show up. I have a cobalt server to compare the info page, and it shows up
there, and when I look at the php3.ini, everything is so different, I can't
figure it out. I have also tried to install PHP 4.0, but it fails saying
that it can't find the httpd.h file in /usr/local/apache. I search for it,
and there is no httpd.h file on my system.
