I'm only using it on Linux but it should be pretty similar, I'm using
the passthru() function with the output written to a file, eg
passthru("/usr/local/bin/curl $args $site > curl.txt", $res);
Then opening the file and reading it. This must be slower than ideal
and there must be an easier way but hey it works. You could try
exec maybe ?
