Hello,
unfortunatly it doesn't work. If tried now some other
function like:
$getstring = $adoRS->GetRows();
This is really simple and should return an array. PHP
replies:
Warning: Invoke() failed:
It seems that all function returning data aren't work,
all static values are available, e.g. the fields-property:
$adoRS->fields->count ===> return the correct number of fields
The more I try I believe that the COM-functionality has
a serious bug. Is that the reason why COM is not documented yet?
BTW, having now MySQL running on Windows 2000 with PHP4.0.0 and
catching data with ado -> same result like NT 4 + Access.
Mike, trying your idea gives the following error messages:
echo $rs->fields->item[$i]->Value;
====> PropGet failed(): inadmissible number of parameters
echo $rs->fields[0]->item[$i]->Value;
====> Unable to lookup item
echo $rs->fields[0]->XXXX
====> Unable to lookup XXXX (independend whatever this code follows)
