OK so sessions are working... cool...
So now you need to track down a your cookie problem.
Start of by setting your browser to ask you to accept all cookies. EVEN
session cookies.
In IE it would be Internet Options->Privacy Tab
Advanced...
Prompt and override defaults...
The take away the ?PHPSESSID=$sessid from the a href in page1.
Post the cookie details here.
