Unable to read Shoutcast server URL results using fopen

Greets, turns out I was able to read any normal url with fopen without problems, but not when they are emulated by a Shoutcast Server which serves as the webserver in this case. example: http://shout.acid.net/index.html if (!($fp = fopen("http://shout.acid.net/index.html", "r"))) { die("could not open input"); } Putting the above address (shoutcast server) in fopen tells me it's not able to open it, even though if you view it in the browser it's valid and shows what I need. Is there anything to fix this or another way? I was able to read it fine in ASP. (I just want to read the output for now, thats' all) Thanks, -gs
