get your entire query string (eg key1=val1&key2=val2&key3=val3),
base64encode() it, pass it through to the next page via get as a var (eg
href="page.php?ref=<?=base64encode($_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"])?>">, the
base64decode() it on the next page... I use this HEAPS.
