You mean do the work for you? Do you want the PHP or Javascript solution?
Only one can be posted on this list...
The PHP one is simple. Assuming $_POST['num'] is the number from your drop

for($x=0;$x<$_POST['num'];$x++)
{ echo '<input type="text">'; }
