If I understand what you're asking, you want to know if there's any
correlation between the physical directory on the server and the URL.
There's no direct correlation. Say you have the domain 'mydomain.com', the
path might be something like '/home/sites/somedirectory/whatever'. It
depends on how the person running the Web server set it up.
Now if you just what the location of the current file, try $PHP_SELF. That
will give you the relative address.
