OK - thanks. I saw that the magic_quotes_gpc is turned off by default, so I did a ini_set(magic_quotes_gpc, 1) to turn it on temporarily. I ran a get_magic_quotes_gpc() and saw that the ini_set did work, but for some reason the query still won't accept the quotes. What am i doing wrong? thanks again, doug Chris Shiflett wrote:
