I have a little bit of clarification following some addition investigations
on my end.
The exec() function works correctly when I run php from the command line:
php.exe -f scripts\matt.php
It returns all of the lines that the executable returns as expected.
However, when I run PHP from the browser as a CGI script, it returns only
the status variable with a value of 0. The last line returned and the array
of output lines are both NULL.
scripts/myfiles/php.exe/matt.php ( with my doc_root set to
c:\inetpub\scripts\myfiles\scripts )
I have seen some scattered postings that seem to indicate that others are
having problems with exec() in Windows as well. Is this a known bug that is
being worked on, or is there already a solution to the problem?
Thanks in advance.
