Hello !
I want to have a navigation-structure on my page like this:
The user should see the page (of course) and all the pages, that are on
the same level (like its on www.php.net).
I want to use frames, because it looks better (thats my personal
opinion, please don't question it ;-)) and the user has not to download
the menu everytime he watches a page of the same level.
Okay. Whats the best way to do it ?
I got one big demand on possible solutions:
It should work correct with the "Back-Button" of the browser. That
means: When changing from one level to another and then pressing the
back-button ONCE, the menu AND the page should have the content before.
I tried the JavaScript attached, but it didn't work (see down).
Any ideas ? Could this done with php ?
Regards
Martin
I tried:
frames["Menu"].document.location.href = "JavaScript:top.menu()";
and on every page, I call OnLoad with a function that calls this line.
This all works fine with NN, but with IE I got a problem:
In NN, you need one push of the "Back-Button" the get to the previous
side and the previous menu.
In IE, you need two pushes of the "Back-Button" the get to the previous
side (since 2 frames have changed).
I want the user to only push the Back-Button ONCE.
