you can try just straight --with-mysql without the = and it may be in the default path...

Hi,
Trying to install PHP with the ability to interact with MySQL. In my
configuration, I've included the option:
--with-mysql=shared,/usr
There are no compile errors. Any idea why PHP is not recognizing any MySQL
functions?
Thanks,
Don
