The problem is not register globals, the problem is that I have .htaccess
with Basic Auth... and HTTP authentication with PHP, and reading the Change
Log I found the problem
---------------------------------------------------
"Make PHP_AUTH_* variables not available in safe mode under Apache when an
external basic auth mechanism is used. (Philip) "
---------------------------------------------------
I made a lot of test, an when I mix both methods, the VARS are NOT set
If I only use PHP AUth, all works good, but I prefer don't do this (to many
files to protect * to many instalations = a lot of time lost without reason)
I don't find a reason abuot this "new" feature
