Aaah, I see. Redhat seems to mess with all sorts of typical
defaults, heck, even short_open_tag (<?) is disabled in a
default redhat8.0 php setup and that just isn't very nice.
Although, maybe it's good to push people into learning stuff,
like why it's important to read a php.ini :)
But I digress. So, commenting out the inclusion of php.conf
from (I assume this is included in httpd.conf) doesn't help?
There must be something somewhere doing something :) It
seems other have had similar problems, at least googling
for terms like: php.conf file upload redhat, comes up with
~1,040 pages. Also, this may need to be written as a faq
somewhere ;)
