Actually you do not need SSI in php because you can use virtual() which is
exactly as good as SSI except you cannot include by virtual() other PHP
documents, but you can include cgi scripts and other staff with no trouble
at all....
See aa tuttorial about virtual()

I have not been able to get server side includes working with php. Is there
something that needs done to get this working? I'm used to server side
includes with ASP, and haven't had a problem there.
I was looking for an archive of this list but couldn't find one. Is there
one and where?
