IRCG 4 Technical Preview released

Hi, it is my pleasure to announce the public release of the IRCG 4 Technical Preview. In contrast to earlier releases, IRCG 4 is fully compatible with the Apache 1.3 web server. IRCG 4 is aimed at ISPs who want to give their customers the unique ability of running web chats without the performance impact of SQL-based applications. IRCG 4 is an application server which eliminates the cost-intensive tasks and moves all persistent connection handling into one process, thereby avoiding any service degradation. The technical preview is available free of charge from <URL:http://schumann.cx/ircg/preview.php> If you are interested in licensing IRCG 4 or the TitanChat framework, please do not hesitate to contact us through <URL:http://schumann.cx/ircg/contact.php> About IRCG IRCG is the most cost-effective solution for real-time delivery of XML messages to huge numbers of concurrent clients. IRCG leverages the power of established IRC products and the Open-Source language PHP to provide message streams over persistent HTTP connections. Time-proven technology and an easy to adapt scripting language forge a strong synergy which reduces the time-to-market and maximizes the value of existing hardware investments. Regards, - Sascha
