Because cookies are available to any browser window open for a certain
application, sessions don't seem useful for anything but user ID, and
only then if the user logs out, times out, or closes all browser windows
to kill a session cookie.
What do people use sessions for, how often do you use session cookies
with sessions vs. short time out cookies with sessions?
