      return $GLOBALS['DOCUMENT_ROOT'];

} } $obj = new Foo; print $obj->Bar(); ?> But this doesn't: <?php class Foo { var $docRoot = $GLOBALS['DOCUMENT_ROOT']; function Bar() {

      return $docRoot;

} } $obj = new Foo; print $obj->Bar(); ?> Brian
