All,
.phps files do not work correctly, or not at all in most cases. I have this in srm.conf:
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
And using the server-info handler, Apache reports this in its configuration. However, a simple test.phps file containing this:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
...will not display any data. Here's an example telnet session with Apache:
bash-2.05a$ telnet localhost 80
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
GET /test.phps HTTP/1.0
Connection closed by foreign host.
I'm using Apache 1.3.20 and PHP 4.3.1. I do remember in the past (version 4.0.6 of PHP) that some .phps files would return about the first half of the data, then close the connection. While other files, like the simple example above, would not return any data.
Any thoughts?
