I am a newbie to CMS stuff, installed postnuke several days ago, but after hours
of different configs... No luck...
I have been doing all our web stuff using html with some small php scripts to do
the job.
Our roster of artists is growing (but not budget for designing site ) I want to
redo our main artists page ( http://carmelme.com/booking.html ) to automaticly
list a new artist the moment I add an an artist page (kind of like news stories
in two columns) and then every artist's page would be a template (kind of work
like a news story post) on top would be a picture middle a couple of paragpraphs
and in the bottom list of audio files (it would be nice if I could just enter
them as "uploads:) and they would be put in a table and at the end would be
contact info. Example of what I imagine (and have already done in HTML staticly)
http://carmelme.com/bumpus/ or http://carmelme.com/afrodisiacs/. I would have
main menu to left and on top keep something like a top navigation bar (hopefully
auto generated) as in http://carmelme.com/booking.html
Any suggestions? What blocks should I use. Hardest part is listing those audio
file listing in a table.
Can't wait to hear some suggestions. I really want to save some hard labor I put
in doing HTML and spend it more on working with more artists...
