Ok this sounds so dumb even typing this message since I can write to a file,
pull the data from the file and even use variables, but I have looked high
and low, under the manual, through over 245 searchable topics on HTML Forms,
and yet turned up nothing.
I need to know how to take the line item value and use that as a variable on
a POST[] (or Get, if I have to)method.
Here's my example:
<Select name="name">
<Option value="#FFFFFF">White</Option>
<Option value="#F0F8FF">AliceBlue</Option>
<Option value="#FAEBD7">Antique White</Option>
</Select>
Please don't worry about the syntax at this moment, I have it doing what I
want with the hexadecimal values when it pulls that to the next php page.
What I want it to pull aswell as that Hexadecimal value is the actually name
the user would select from the form, in this example the selection "White"
or "AliceBlue" or "Antique White", I have many reasons to want to do this,
one being: Name values that won't work by using the actual name for the
color, Example: "White Smoke" or "AliceBlue but their hexadecimal
counterpart works awesome.
In this example Either: #F5F5F5, #F0F8FF or FAEBD7.
If this can't be done, I'll just have to make it submit an email or write to
a secured page where I can view their order.
Either way I feel it's too "techy" for my clients to have to revert to the
"hexadecimal version" of the color they prefer, for use as a background or
text color.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.
