Greetings all.
I'm a newbie to PHP, but have quite a bit of experience w/Perl and C,
so the mechanics of PHP don't seem too difficult (yet :-). I also have
some bare-bones HTML experience.
However, I have two questions.....
1. I want to create a form that will accept some input, process that input,
then store the results in a flat-file (no db support on the webhost... I'm tied
to that particular webhost for now; no chance of changing it). What I was
thinking was to design the first form (getinput.html) in MS FrntPg (for the
design aspects), have the form tag call getinput.php, extract the info and
store in a file. Does this sound like an adequate approach?
2. Is there an IDE for PHP that would help w/the design end of things? (Basically
positioning text/lines etc.). Or should I continue to use FP to do the design of HTML,
then just do the processing w/PHP?
Thanks for the help!
