Mike,
It looks like a really simple mistake when you are echoing the selected code. See below.
You have :
<option selected value=$row[operating_system]>$row[operating_system]</option>change it to: <option selected value='$row[operating_system]'>$row[operating_system]</option> You just forgot the quote around the value field. A tell tale sign of this is when you get a partial value back and that value was split at the location of a space character. Hope this helped, Jonathan Pitcher
