Re: php chat component?

I briefly recall a PHPIRC program somewhere... I think it was on freshmeat... I never could get it to work though, but maybe you're luckier than me... It connects to a standard IRC Server and uses frames and stuff to automatically "refresh" the screens with the new information from the IRC Server... IMHO, it uses Shared Memory - which I don't think is good... Maybe that's why I could never get it to work.. But then again, I'm no expert in programming...
