forms being truncated when processed

Hi, I have a form containing several textareas which are collected by a php script and the stuck together and sent in an email to me. The problem is that on occasion the content of the textareas appears to have been truncated in the email. This only seems to occur when I copy and paste the text from MS Word into the web form, if i copy and paste the same text from a text file then the truncation does not occur! Also the truncation does not always appear in the same place. Also this truncation only seems to occur on our Solaris Apache/PHP server, when i run the same web form on a MacOSX Apache/PHP server (built using exactly the same configuration) then there is no truncation! Anybody have any ideas what on earth is going on here?? thanks for any help adam
