FTP problem with PASV mode

Hi,
I have a FTP problem with PHP 4.3.1 . When I try se set PASV mode on with
ftp_pasv($conn_id, TRUE)
it always return me FALSE. And when I try to upload file, on the server it
stays with zero length and the script sleeps.
The server works is PASV mode. When I try with other FTP client program -
there is no problems.
Can someone help me ?
