I'm trying to use PHP 4.3.1 with MSSQL 7 on Win2k and I'm having issues
with connecting to the database.
A simple PHP file of:
<?php
mssql_connect("DEVELOPER", "wft_php", "pass");
?>
Brings back:
Warning: mssql_connect() [function.mssql-connect]: message: Login failed
for user 'DEVELOPER\IUSR_NOAH-QZHC2JI0XV'. (severity 14) in
c:\inetpub\wwwroot\index.php on line 2
So, the thing I've noticed is, regardless of what username I put in the
mssql_connect() function, the error message shows the user as
"DEVELOPER\IUSR_NOAH-QZHC2JI0XV" (the name of the IIS user).
Also, the PHP page for mssql_connect() mentions I should have a
"interfaces" file, which I haven't been able to find anything about.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris
