You may try tu use PostgreSQL (http://www.postgresql.org) which suport
transactions.

Subiect: [PHP] Which database is suitable
Hi,
Actually, I know how to use asp to extract data from a backend database
and post it to web.
My tools are MSSQL and MSIIS
This is my first time to use PHP with Redhat linux. Just want u to give
some advice on which database server do u recommend?
I would prefer to use MSSQL cos' I've been got used to it. However, it
seems not common to use PHP in linux to connect with it. Isn't it?
I need to develop some sort of bookstore and file upload. Please advise. I
don't want to use MySQL cos' someone told me that it doesn't support no
transaction
Best Rdgs
Emy
