Variable not passed?

I've put Postgresql/php/apahce2 together since yesterday on RH. Using add.html and add-entry.php called by the form action, I didn't get the filled values passed, even though the variable=value pairs explicitly showed up in the URL. To explain a little more in detail, 1) Invoke add.html from browser. 2) After the form comes up, fill it. 3) Everything goes fine, except that there is no values and I got something like Name = Phone = E-mail = I tried to echo the variables from within add-entry.php, they are empty. Please help.
