I have been trying to get PHP 4.3.1 and java to work nicely together so that I would use xml_fo2pdf.
The end result is that it segfaults when trying to use the fo2pdf class. I have simplioed things
(per the online docs) and still have the same problem.
This is on Linux with a 2.2 kernel and Sun's JDK 1.3_08 and 1.4.1_02 (same results with both).
My PHP/Java code which segfaults
<?
ini_set("java.class.path","/usr/local/lib/php/php_java.jar");
ini_set("java.home","/usr/local/java");
ini_set("java.library","/usr/local/java/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so");
// get instance of Java class java.lang.System in PHP
$system = new Java('java.lang.System');
?>
does anyone having this working?
Thanks
