How do you pass the session id?
Cookie - is it being set and accepted?
GET variable - did you pass SID to the redirection url?

Hello, Got a problem with sessions since upgrading to PHP 4.3.1. I'm using PEAR-AUTH to authenticate against a db. It then sets session variables - logged_in and username. Finally, it redirects to a new page. However on that new page it gives me these errors: Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: The session id contains illegal characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in /var/www/html/prattcms/admin/index2.php on line 13 Line 13 is just a session_start(); I tried echoing session_id() both before and after the redirect. Before it prints out a session id, but after nothing... any suggestions? -Michael
