I've successfully installed php on an nt box, but I'm having a heck of a time getting any of the modules to load.
When I "uncomment" any of the php_*.dll files in the php.ini, php pages (even simple ones) will not serve.
1) Be sure that what you're uncommenting actually exists, w/ the same name, in the directory specified in the extensions_dir of the php.ini
2) If you've done that and things still aren't working, try this:
a) make a phpinfo.php file that contains <? phpinfo() ?>
b) put that file next to the php.exe (C:\php4\ or wherever)
c) go to DOS, cd to that directory, type php.exe phpinfo.php
What should happen is that it'll go through the php.ini as it attempts to parse the script. If you have name/dll disconnects, you'll see nice errors telling you so, so you can fix them. After the errors, you'll see a lot of HTML dumped to the screen.
That's just something to try.
