Hey, I had the same problem and it took me a few days to fix and needed a
lot of help from different people. In a nutshell, this is what I did:
Th files under ext/mysql/lib/ do not have a reference to errno.h file which
they need. Therefore, I manually added an #include <errno.h> to the
following files.
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/mysql.h
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/my_malloc.c
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/my_realloc.c
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/my_delete.c
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/my_tempnam.c
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/my_error.c
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/my_getwd.c
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/my_setwd.c
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/my_once.c
vi ext/mysql/libmysql/safemalloc
Doing the above should take care of those errors. If in the future you want
to install the --with-mysql, I ran into problems with this aswell.
The functions in php_folder/ext/mysql/libmysql/my_tempnam.c are not being
used but referenced by another file(s). Therefore what I did I:
1) Removed the reference to my_tempnam.c from ext/mysql/config.m4 file.
2) Commented out all the contents of the my_tempnam.c file.
Can't believe I had to work so hard to get this to work.
Good Luck,
