okay,
your advises were all very usefull. The scripts all do their work.
Because I do this all for testing (in web I have a functional mailing-thing)
I looked for a simple solution...
...and found one. I simply use an SMTP-Server that doesn't need autenth.
So in the end there's only one question: is there any risk in using an
SMTP-Server that's not hosted by my provider? I guess not, but who knows?
Thanks for an answer,
Tim.
