Upload files with post wont work

Hello list, I am a new member so hi all, here is my first question (hope soon I can give my first answer): I used the example in the online documentation for uploading files using the post method. Everything seems to be in the right place and I followed the example word by word, here is the code: index.php ---------------------------------------- <form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="step1.php" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="10000"> Send this file: <input name="filename" type="file"> <input type="submit" value="Send File"> </form> ---------------------------------------- step1.php ---------------------------------------- <?php move_uploaded_file($_FILES['filename']['tmp_name'], "/home/apache/"); ?> ---------------------------------------- I tried this in a Debian server and worked perfectly but in a RedHat 7.2 wont copy a thing, also the variable $_FILES['filename'] and $_FILES['tmp_name'] won't return a thing.
