Hi, I'm going to write an extension using some of the OO Api of the ZE2. Now I read about ext/rpc. That looks really nice. But I can't compile anything using it. If I mange to get the compiler running I get at least these messages: In file included from myrpctest.c:19: ../rpc.h:173:7: warning: no newline at end of file In file included from myrpctest.c:20: ../handler.h:117: parse error before "MUTEX_T" ../handler.h:117: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union ../handler.h:123: conflicting types for `data' ../../../main/php.h:243: previous declaration of `data' ../handler.h:124: parse error before '}' token ../handler.h:124: warning: data definition has no type or storage class ../handler.h:139: warning: data definition has no type or storage class I can't believe this is a bug, 'cause I can reproduce it on different machines, running different Linux versions with different gcc's etc. So it seemes to be a failure in my code or my way to call the compiler otherwise somebody would already have found this. The only example using ext/rpc I can find is ext/rpc/com - but that don't work on Linux (don't ask me why *g*) Could anybody point me to some information about using ext/rpc with Linux so I can compile an extension using ext/rpc? Where should I put my source files? How can I link them static/dynamic? How can I use phpize t ocompile them? ... johannes P.S. Yes I've read RPC_HOWTO and searched using google, but nothing helped me...
