John, if you give the form a name, then you can use javascript to submit
it. Fire the submit function from the two buttons onClick event using
different parameters. I find this works best with <input
type=button... rather than <input type=submit... . From the javascript
side the submit is called more or less as document.myform.submit();
The std disclaimers about js not always being available apply, so the
_best_ solution may be the php one proposed above.
