Hi there.
I have a seriuos question. This has to do with scripting itself
, as well as a structural issue. I am a little lost on this,
for a lack of experience.
The issue is the following:
We have a server (a) on which an ecard lies. With this card we can
apply for a ringtone to be send to our phone. So, the card sends a call
to another server (b). On this server the script i am writing needs to
take the variables send from server (a), adds additional vars and collects
them for another call to be made.
The 3rd call goes from server (b) to a sms gateway server (c). This should
be an invisible and non-hackable http call. The script we are calling we
don't have any control over, nore access to. The call should look like
this:
http://www.smsgatewayserver.com/incoming.asp?mobile=08233445&rington=sonique&user=
tim@pass=tim.
Now this asp script will return an ID we need to catch with the script. We
then take this ID and some of the variables we have collected before the
call
to server (c) and write to a comma seperated txt file.
The greatest confusion that arises is of this nature:
1. How do we pass on variables to a non-php script, invisible and
non-hackable?
2. How will we collect a returning ID variable?
3. How many calls will we need? And how do we call?
Please guys, i am very keen on getting this one right!!!
You are encouraged to also write a letter that long and detailed!
Should you feel that i am trying to have someone else do my work ... well
that is just tuff luck for you. I am not getting any money for this, nore
does anyone benfit from it, exept me. How else will i learn?
Anyone?
with great respect
Thomas
