The only thing I can think of is that 'maybe' PHP doesn't work with 'qmail' but
I can't see that as being the case. Maybe there's some sort of special syntax for QMail.
Nope. Just to verify, mail() works fine with qmail. We used qmail on a temporary GNU/Linux Debian potato server for a while and I saw no ill effects produced from any existing PHP code that sent mail. We moved the same code back to OpenBSD/sendmail without requiring any changes. qmail has packaged wrapper scripts that allow existing sendmail-dependant applications to work (which should have been installed by default; but I think that was mentioned in a previous post.) The PHP version we used during that time was 3.0.16 I think. Brian
