multiple custom error handler possible ?

hi there , i have asked this before but dont know if there was a response, i have attempted to implement custom error handling for a few classes , hoping that the trigger error could be triggered internally , i have ntoiced that the last error handler function set is triggered , is there any way around this , or do i make my own trigger error function which just dies etc .. , is using trigger error to send a E_USER_WARNING error not very efficient for multiple classes , i have just come across a class in the code where one error in a class was triggering the error handler in another class , please let me know i have to redesign it again thanks :\
