I am updating thousands of records using 3 mysql queries in "for" loop. I
noticed that before completion of the first query the second and third query
was also executed and started updating the records. Which messed up the
database. I want my first query to be completed first then the second and so
on...
Thank you,
Tina...

What do you mean at the same time? queries running from a PHP script run
one after the other.
In between them, you can do anything you want.
What am i missing?
Sincerely

I have written a php script which exectues 3 different mysql queries at
the same time. Can I lock the table for the other 2 mysql queries untill
the first query is been executed. After completion of first query table
should be unlock for the second query and so on. is this possible?
Thank you,
Tina...
