session in frame

Hi All,
I'm use 2 frameset with frames top and lower in outer framest, left, main and right inner
frameset in main.php I use:

require("../include/env.inc");
$env_local = new env;
require($env_local->PHPLIB_DIR . "prepend.php3");
page_open(array("sess" => "Example_Session"));
if (!isset($s)) { $s=0; };
$sess->register("s");

and in top.php I have a menu (flash).
How to I pass the sessid to the next page?
or is it wise not to use frames?
