People who "reply all," as I'm doing, send a reply message to both the list and your email. Why do we do this? Because some people post questions without bothering to come back to the list to look for answers. It's also easier, if you're using a semi-intelligent mail program, to seperate the replies you've gotten from the main mailing list, in seperate boxes or folders. That way, you can get to your replies without having to sift through the list.
