while we are on the topic of load balancing , i was wondering if there is
any possible way to check which mysql server to connect to in a replication
scenerio , i have seen examples to check if the host is up with fsock
except even with the @ in front of the function it still dies with a fatal
error if the host u are checking for is down , is there any php examples or
tools ?
