Okay, now I think about to use my quaota of silly questions for the
month.
In my php.ini under 4.0.2 I have "register_globals = Off" set. It's
recomened this be turned off for max speed, or at least that's what the
header of the php.ini-optimized file says.
With this turned off I have to access $PHP_SELF though
HTTP_SERVER_VARS["PHP_SELF"], that works. Unless I'm trying to get the
value of $PHP_SELF from inside a class or function. In this case it comes
up empty.
I think the ideal solution would be turn GPCE globals off and leave the
HTTP_SERVER_VARS[] registed as globals.
Any thoughts on how to handle this?
