I don't use --enable-trans-id at all; I manually do the same thing you
do: <?=SID?> for all URLs on my site that support sessions.
But I also always have to check to make sure that SID is defined and has a
string-length, or else I'll get the following sometimes:
http://www.mysite.com/mypage.php?SID
So I always do this:
if(defined(SID) and strlen(SID)) <?=SID?>
Since I predeclare each page to my site as objects with a method that gets
their URLs, I only have to do this once in the class itself.
