I have just installed mysql 4 because of a difficulty i had encountered with
mysql 3.23 (probably my fault). When i use the php function to connect to
the mysql server i get this error:
Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Can't connect to MySQL
server on 'localhost' (10061) in c:\program files\apache
group\apache\htdocs\mestrl\includes\db.func.php on line 4
Does Anyone know how to connect to a mysql 4 server using php?
NOTE:
phpMyAdmin-2.5.0 seems to be able to connect and run fine, while anything
else i've got does not work (I have imported a database dump so all data is
there).
