Hi I'm trying to compile the php-4.3.1 package on a SUN/Solaris 8
mashine.
I confugured php with: ./configure
--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs
I have installed all requiered neccesary packages, downloded from
sunfreeware.com.
I have installed Apache2 under /usr/local/apache2.
When my gcc compiler tries to make the package I get the following
message:
ld: fatal: file ext/ctype/ctype.lo: unknown file type
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to .libs/libphp4.so
My ld is: /usr/ccs/bin/ld
And ls gives: -rw-r--r-- 1 root other 1 May 26 11:23
ext/ctype/ctype.lo
