Fellow PHP'ers,
I developed a site that uses sessions with PHP. The problem is that some of
my pages are static HTML files. That way I am not able to pass the PHPSESSID
variable through them to the next PHP file. Because of that users with
session cookies disabled are unable to use my site correctly. I've read a
bit about urlrewriting or something like that but couldn't fully understand
nor get it to work. My doubt is if it I can change something in my
configuration that will allow the PHP processor to append the PHPSESSID to
my links in my HTML files or if I will have to turn all my files to PHP. If
the first option is possible how can that be done and what are the
consequences? Will it slow down my web serving since all files (including
static ones) are being parsed? Is it a perceptive difference or not?
Thanks in advance,
Bernardo de Barros Franco
